BJ The Chicago Kid & Queen Naija Set to Headline Escape Tracks Virtual R&B Music Festival

The virtual festival will also feature Eric Bellinger as a headliner and will take place on May 16 at 4 p.m. EST.

Escape Tracks has announced a free one-day music festival set to go live on Saturday, May 16. The event will feature quite a few talented names in R&B. The Escape Tracks Virtual R&B Music Festival will include BJ The Chicago Kid, Eric Bellinger, Queen Naija and Luh Kel as headliners.

The virtual festival created in partnership with YouTube will collect donations and 100% of the proceeds will go to the MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund. Escape Tracks founder Kyle Sassi shared the following on the event, “Since we have the ability to assist, what better way to contribute than the Escape Tracks team and I producing a virtual event to help an organization like MusiCares stay heroically on the frontlines of providing much needed financial aid to so many.”

He also added:

"With canceled tours and pushed album rollouts, everyone in the music industry has had to dramatically adjust. With the gig-to-gig nature of our industry, adjustment is twice as difficult for the thousands of music creators and professionals who are suddenly out of work, left with uncertain futures or stricken ill with the virus without the support of a major label deal or employment or independent funding/savings to dive into during the pandemic."

The lineup also includes Xavier Omar, Vanjess, Tiana Major9, Leven Kali and more. Special guests will also be announced.

The Escape Tracks Virtual R&B Festival will take place on May 16 on Escape Tracks’ YouTube page at 4 p.m. EST. Viewers can access free tickets here.
