Bobby Brown Calls Kanye 'Ignorant' for Using Whitney Houston's Bathroom Photo for Album Cover
Bobby Brown has a few words for Kanye West.
Bobby Brown has called Kanye West “ignorant” for his decision to use a photo of the late Whitney Houston's bathroom as the cover for Pusha T’s G.O.O.D. Music album, Daytona.
West had replaced the planned cover art with a 2006 photo showing Houston’s bathroom littered with drug paraphernalia.
“Ignorant people are ignorant people, and they’re going to be that way until they find themselves,” Houston's ex-husband Brown said on the Buzzfeed show Profile.
He added, “You expect disrespectful stuff from Kanye West anyway, so he’s not going to change,” Brown said. “Long as he stays clear from me, he’ll be safe. He’ll be OK.”
Brown added that neither West nor Pusha T reached out to him about use of the photo and expressed that does he want to hear from them.

In multiple interviews, Pusha T said West paid $85,000 to license the image. In a May interview with Angie Martinez, he expressed that he didn’t want to pay the $85K, so Kanye paid the fee and insisted, “This is what the people need to see to go along with this music."
In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, Brown also expressed disdain for the image use, calling West “crazy” and “disgusting.”
the former New Edition singer and solo star, was married to Houston from 1992 to 2007.
