After a Lengthy Hiatus Bryson Tiller Returns With Single "Inhale" & Announces New Album

The singer also announces his latest album will arrive in the fall.

Bryson Tiller is back and he’s dropped a video for his newest single “Inhale” produced by Dpat.

Upon first listen, if you’re into R&B from the ‘90s, you immediately recognize SWV has been sampled. The group’s 1995 single “All Night Long” leads Tiller’s reintroduction in the R&B market and it works extremely well. Brent Faiyaz’s vocals are also featured in the track, according to Genius

In the accompanying music video, Bryson appears alongside a stunning beau. The two share a few intimate moments and the dark shots throughout the clip foreshadow looming issues between them. A shot of loopy, surreal clocks is an interesting segway that leads the final scene.

Recently, the singer-songwriter shared a meme on Twitter that had his fans in a frenzy. It featured a man with a backpack, in front of the man was the word “me.” The bag was labeled “unreleased songs” which argues the question of whether or not Bryson has been sitting on unreleased music. He captioned the photo with a smiling emoji. Fans immediately shared he needed to drop the new music as they’ve been patiently waiting. His last solo album dropped in 2017, True To Self

He followed this tweet by sharing a poll asking supporters when he should release an album? Most of the responses agreed that it should be “when the time is right.” The “Inhale” visual provided a bit of clarity on if he’ll be dropping a full-length release soon. In the video towards the end, his next album is announced. In bold text, the video shares his album will arrive in the fall.

Growth has clearly been important to Tiller over the past few years as he’s taken a hiatus from the public eye. He’s been experiencing life as a father to two girls, but he’s also recently shared he went back to school to receive his high school diploma

We’ll be eagerly waiting for the release of Bryson Tiller’s upcoming album which potentially is titled Serenity. For now, you can watch the “Inhale” video below.
