The artists are putting the finishing touches on the long-delayed project.
After a nine-year delay, it looks like Busta Rhymes' next solo album will finally see the light of day.
On Monday (February 11), the rapper posted a series of photos to his Instagram account of himself in the studio with Dre wrapping up the project.
He captioned one photo with, “Back in the Kitchen wit the good @drdre Adding the finishing touches,” while another read, "Great Minds.... The Good Doctor and The Dragon 🐉... Cookin."
The album marks Busta's first solo effort since 2012’s Year of the Dragon.

Last year, in an interview with Ebro Darden and Zane Lowe, Busta said Dr. Dre played a part in the nine-year delay of his album. In an interview whe said, "I’ve been recording this shit since 2000 and fucking nine. I credit that patience to the Dr. Dre experience because when I was in Aftermath, this was the first time that I was stripped of all the memorabilia of my accolades and what I’ve accomplished and how great Busta Rhymes is; in my own head and from the people and from my fucking résumé."
He added, “Dre be like, ‘Yo, you had a great one, but you want to do it different. You want to see new results, you gotta do it a new way. Welcome to Aftermath my nigga.’ I’m like, ‘What the fuck do this mean?’"
