It's been four years since West Coast spitter Choosey released his debut album, Left Field. The rapper is making his return: on March 29th, Choosey will release his follow-up album, Black Beans. On the first album, Choosey got production assists from the likes of Knxwledge and Abjo. This time he is only working with one producer: Exile (who most famously produced Below the Heavens with Blu.)
Today, we are premiering the video for the album's lead single "Low Low." The song features singer Aloe Blacc and is about Choosey wanting the simpler things in life...like a lowrider.
Speaking about the song and video, which features all these beautiful shots of LA and various lowriders, Choosey told us:
"Low Low" is a reflection and a combination of my childhood desires which matured yet remained consistent, all wrapped around the fantasy of owning a lowrider. It's my heritage. It's my culture. It's a piece of my soul.
