Miami's City Girls will have to take a break even as they've achieved recent success as a feature on Drake's latest album Scorpion. JT, a member of the rap duo, recently turned herself in to authorities for fraudulent credit card charges. She was previously out on bond until deciding to finish out her incarceration sentence.
"Did more than I thought I could imagine in this short period of time out on bond. Now it's time for me to knock this down and come back strong forever. Hold my baby down y'all," JT, real name Jatavia Johnson, wrote on Instagram confirming her jail sentence.

According to Billboard, JT is currently at Miami's Federal Detention Center and is slated to be released from prison on March 21, 2020.
City Girls made an appearance on the Scorpion track "In My Feelings." The duo also released their debut album Period in May of this year.
A number of rappers have voiced their support of JT, including Drake and Trina.
The latter has been seen wearing a shirt with the phrase "Free JT" while the former took to Instagram to write: "Damn free my shorty."
