Consequence Unleashes On Ye-Produced Track "Blood Stain"
On Friday, Consequence released new single "Blood Stain" with what he considers to be the "beat of the year" produced by Ye.
Consequence is boasting that he has the “beat of the year." As a late birthday gift to the artist formerly known as Kanye West – who turned 45 on June 8 – on Friday (June 10), Cons offered new single "Blood Stain" produced by Ye.

"Blood Stain" is the lead single from Cons upcoming album Nice Doing Business With You, his latest release since A Good Comeback Story EP in 2016.
Cons is also letting go of "petty energy" this year, posting a screenshot of a 2016 text conversation between himself and producer Noah “40” Shebib.

“Petty Energy ain’t it for 2022,” Cons wrote on Instagram. “A few years ago, Drake had Ye & I over to cook up n catch a vibe.
“As an OG, I owe @champagnepapi an apology for letting the competition over the LP’s spiral out of control. Pardon me for whatever was said about you or your loved ones. Keep doing you bro.”
Cons and Drake had a previous falling out amid Ye's long-running feud with the OVO Sound founder, which was squashed when the two hosted the ‘Free Larry Hoover’ benefit concert in Los Angeles last December.
Cons and Ye have still maintained their collaborative relationship, with Ye being credited as co-writer on DONDA track "Hurricane" featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby, which won won Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
“It’s like the honor roll on steroids,” Cons told HipHopDX. “And that got me my second BMI Award and I think ‘Hurricane’ will probably give me the third one. The Donda cycle was completely different than what [Jesus Is King] was. Obviously, with the listening sessions and everything that’s going on and the hype was at an all-time high. It was crazy.”
