Just yesterday, we reported that D'Angelo would be performing in the UK next spring for the first time since his 2015 tour in support of the 14-years-in-the-making Black Messiah.
But as it turns out, Londoners will not be the only ones with the opportunity to attend his electric sermon. Today, five more shows have been announced, expanding the one-off into a six-stop tour, with his Eventim Apollo serving as the opening night, with subsequent dates in Zurich, Paris, Hamburg, Berlin and Copenhagen.
Tickets for the London show go on-sale this Friday, October 20th. What he brings to the stage, after nearly a year's hiatus, remans to be seen. His last performance was at the concluding all-star jam of Roots Picnic NYC in October of 2016, sharing the stage with John Mayer, The Roots, and for a short time, Dave Chappelle.
