The OVO rapper caps the decade with a loose transmission.
Capping what was arguably his most embattled year to date, Drake has released the new song "War."
Produced by UK Drill maestro, AXL Beats, the track features the Toronto rapper's half-British cadence, as well as a formal peace offering for The Weeknd, the once OVO-affiliated star who broke off from the Drake-led camp, sparking rumors of tension between the former collaborators. But, apparently, all'swell these days.

"Hawk and Stix and Cash and Baka, Gucci, P, and Gilla/And the boy that sound like he sang on Thriller/You know that's been my n***a, yeah/We just had to fix things, family, 6 tings, we can't split up," Drake raps over the bottom-heavy and minimalistic beat. The track was released with an accompanying snow-clad visual, directed by Theo Skudra. The track appears on Oliver El-Khatib and Kuumba International's collaborative tape, EL KUUMBA TAPE VOL. 1, which was released on Soundcloud this morning.
