Dreamville & Daily Paper Link Up For Capsule Collection
J. Cole's Dreamville Records and clothing line Daily Paper have collaborated for a new university-inspired capsule collection.
J. Cole's Dreamville Records and clothing line Daily Paper are taking fans to school. The brands have come together for new capsule collection titled ‘Dream Daily,’ which homages the rich history of University of Timbuktu / Sankore and the extensive culture of Africa. In sandy and maroon colorways, the collection features classic varsity letterman jackets, coach jackets, sweatsuits, hoodies, and more. Models for the line include Dreamville artists Bas and Lute.
Seen throughout the 'Dream Daily' collection are multicolored patches, decals and brand logos, which can compliment a full streetwear look or casual attire.
“The collaboration with Daily Paper and Dreamville is a real example of powerhouses coming together with music and fashion at the center,” said label partner and president of apparel, Adam Roy. “We tell stories through music and equally they, with fashion. We’re excited about the opportunity to build something special with one of today’s foremost fashion collectives.”
Apart from their Daily Paper collaboration, the record label imprint under Interscope is prepping their upcoming Dreamville Festival, which returns to Raleigh, North Carolina from April 1-2. Last year, the festival hosted artists Lil Baby, Rico Nasty, Wizkid, Kehlani, Wale and more.
The label is also executive producing the soundtrack to upcoming boxing drama, Creed III, which stars Michael B. Jordan, Jonathan Majors and Tessa Thompson. Earlier this month, the first J. Cole, Lute and J.I.D.-assisted single "Ma Boy," was released as part of the Creed III OST.
