The 18-track project was certified by the RIAA earlier this week after going gold just weeks after its initial release. And while it's surely another win for an already decorated J. Cole (as well as fellow marquee performers Ari Lennox, Ty Dolla $ign, and Vince Staples,) ROTD's success has earned more than a dozen contributors their first-ever plaques. According to Variety, the 15 artists walking away with their debut platinum performance include EARTHGANG, JID, Buddy, Young Nudy, Mez, Guapdad4000, Baby Rose, Dreezy, Omen, Jace, Reese La Flare, Cozz, Lute, Mereba, and Yung Baby Tate.

For Revenge of The Dreamers III, Cole held a summit of more than 100 writers, producers, and performers. They reportedly recorded 140-plus tracks for the album. A dozen additional songs from those sessions were released on subsequent "deluxe" and "director's cut" expansions.

The collective's second annual festival was recently postponed (along with almost any gathering of more than 250 people) over ongoing COVID-19 pandemic concerns. It's been tentatively rescheduled for August 29th.
