Stream Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist's New Album 'Alfredo,' Featuring Benny the Butcher, Conway & More

Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist are serving up some Alfredo.

Freddie Gibbsjust keeps on working with the best producers. The Alchemist just keeps on working with the best rappers.

Gibbs and Alchemist have teamed up to release Alfredo, a 10-track collaborative album. Alfredo, which is led by the single "1985," features appearances from Benny the Butcher, Conway,  Rick Ross, and Tyler, the Creator. The album comes just a year and a half after the two first linked up for FETTI, which also featured Curren$y.

The album was announced just yesterday, with the release of the "1985" video. Also announced was a really fire-looking merch collection and a 20-page comic book illustrated by Marvel's Deadly Mike.

Ben “Lambo” Lambert, Freddie Gibbs' manager, talked to Hypebeast about the album name and the merch collection. He told the publication:

We came up with the name Alfredo years ago when we recorded the song “Fetti” for GTA V...It made sense to me to go with a full restaurant theme for the creative. Freddie came up with The Godfather pasta idea and had our guy Deadly Mike, who draws comics for Marvel, knock it out. For the merch, I wanted to tap into the style of clothing an Italian restaurant delivery guy would wear in the late 90s, or that they’d sell behind the counter in a glass case.

It has been a productive stretch for Gibbs and Al. This is the first new album from Freddie Gibbs since he released the highly anticipated Bandana last year. While Alchemist has been dropping projects left and right; over the last couple of months, he's dropped albums with Action Bronson, Boldy James, and Conway the Machine.
