The upcoming reboot of The Boondocks is already shaping up to be a quantum leap forward from its previous season. For one, the show's creator, Aaron McGruder -- absent from the fourth and previously suspected final season-- is onboard. But it also appears that the show's character design is getting an upgrade.

Earlier this week, we got an eye on Huey Freeman's new lines, and now, Grandad's getting the glow-up. Posted by the official Boondocks Instagram account, Robert Freeman's redesign garbs him in a simple white tee and khaki overall combo. One hand wielding a belt, the other a golf club, presumably in preparation for battle with Stinkmeiner (?)
