Next month will be the seven-year anniversary of one of the greatest rap albums of all time: Kendrick Lamar's masterful major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city.

The album came out on October 22, 2012. The next week the album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, selling 242,000 copies in its first week.

The album has never left the Billboard 200 charts.

This week the album came in at No.141 on the Billboard 200. That means the album has spent its 358th straight week on the charts, breaking a record for rap albums established by Eminem’s The Eminem Show.
