Canadian Rapper Smoke Dawg Shot and Killed in Toronto
R.I.P. Smoke Dawg
Up-and-coming Toronto rapper Smoke Dawg was shot and killed in his hometown on Saturday. The rapper, who was best known for his 2015 hit "Trap House," was only 21.
According to The Star, the shooting occurred a couple of minutes before 8 PM on Saturday night near Cube nightclub. When police arrived on the scene, they found two men and a woman injured with gun wounds.

The two men were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The woman is expected to pull through. The Star doesn't mention the rapper but artists from the Toronto scene started sending out their condolences on social media:

Last year, Smoke Dawg opened up for Drae during his Boy Meets World tour. Drake left a heartfeltmessage to the rapper on his IG story:
Smoke Dawg is the third burgeoningrapper to be murdered in his hometown over the last couple of weeks. Last month, XXXTentacion and Jimmy Wopo were both murdered in the states they grew up in.
