UPDATE: Lupita Nyong'o Appears in the Latest '4:44' Ad

UPDATE: Lupita Nyong'o has released the latest trailer for JAY-Z's upcoming 4:44 album.

This one is as dark and mysterious as all the other trailers. It features a close-up shot of Nyong'o's face; she is crying. There is music in the background, but no rapping, so we're not sure if this is production that willbefeatured on the upcomingalbum.

Three days away from the release of JAY-Z's 4:44, and we only really know like three things: 4:44 is an album; it's being produced No I.D.;the album is going to be heavy.

A couple of moments ago, TIDAL released a new blink-and-you-miss-it trailer for the upcoming album. The trailer is called "Kill JAY-Z," and the visuals are pretty jarring; it features a black boy, wearing a "stay black" shirt, running.

The boy noticeablyhas a distressed face.

In the background, never-heard-before production could be heard playing. Consideringthetrailers we've seen, and Hov's interestin projects centered around social justice, it seems more and more likely that this album will have some kind of conscious center to it.

4:44 drops on Friday. The day before, Sprint and TIDAL will host a numberof release parties in select cities to coincide with the album.
