Last Friday, JAY-Z released the video for "Kill Jay Z;" it's the third song from 4:44 to get the officialvideo treatment.

Over the last month or so, Hov has been releasing other videos also. These videos, which are known as footnotes, features the Brooklyn MC and other celebrities decoding lines and messages from 4:44.

On Monday JAY released the footnotes for "Kill Jay Z." This footnote session features appearances from the likes of Chris Rock, Van Jones, Michael Che, Trevor Noah, Anthony Anderson, Mahershala Ali, and more.

The theme of these footnotes is ego. And JAY Z kicks off the discussion by talking about the pros and cons of ego:

"You walkin' around like you invincible, butI did bring us here...You need a bit of your ego at some point."

Each additional celebrity featured discuss the positives and negatives about having a large ego. Noah, from the Daily Show, says ego scares him "as a human being." While Jones says"I think your ego is always your best friend and your worst enemy."
