Watch John C. Reilly "Freestyle" Over Common and Kanye's "Southside"
Reilly brought an audibly-laughable vintage cadence to Sway In The Morning
Actor, comedian, and native Chicagoan, John C. Reilly, has been running the press circuit in the lead-up to his forthcoming animated film, Ralph Breaks The Internet.
The latest stop on the tour brought him to Sway's Universe. The Step Brothers star lined up with the morning crew to chat about the Wreck It Ralph sequel, as well as his love for the Windy City. Naturally, Sway convinced his guest to run through some requisite bars, and Reilly, for his part, did not fall short. With a very "Buffalo Gals" cap equipped, Reilly brought vintage bars and cadence to "Southside," the 2007 track from fellow hometown heroes, Common and Kanye West. The results are equally laughable and admirable. Watch it below along with his full interview.
Reilly's musical resume isn't long, but it is wildly entertaining. Right around the time Common released Finding Forever, he starred in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, spoofing every '60s folk and psyche star imaginable.
Ralph Breaks The Internet arrives on November 23rd, co-starring Sara Silverman, Taraji P. Henson, Gal Gadot, and Jane Lynch.
