Swizz Beatz Blasts Kanye for Claiming He's Being "Bullied" About The MAGA Hat

Attempts at reclaiming the MAGA symbolism are not going well.

Last night, Kanye West was the musical guest (three times over) for Saturday Night Live's season premiere. The performances ranged bizarre and cartoonish to minimalistic and frank.

For his third performance, West hijacked the curtain call with a performance of "Ghost Town" with Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, the SNL house band, Mike Dean and Ty Dolla $ign sitting in on guitar and bass, and, as if the country was free of a tyrannical Trump administration actively targeting people of color, that fucking MAGA hat.

The finale was cut short, but thanks to a video from Chris Rock's Instagram story, we're able to confirm that West went on to deliver a rant as impossibly tone-deaf as his wardrobe decision. Leading with his intended presidential run, West eventually gets to claiming that he'd been bullied for his decision to keep wearing the evil red cap, despite persistent efforts to twist up the message with "positive energy." He as promptly booed.

Upon seeing the clip (which has yet to be viewed in full by anyone that didn't attend the taping,) Swizz Beatz published a video of himself in the studio blasting West for "representing somebody that's blatantly hurting our people." Swizz put an exclamation point on it by hitting play on a battle-ready loop of him blaring "Fuck the MAGA hat." Watch that below.

And while his YANDHI album, initially intended for release last night, remains out of sight and mind, doubled-down on last night's sentiments, posting yet another photo of himself in the demon lid with the caption "this represents good and America becoming whole again.  We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs.  We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love."

He's also currently going off about cancel culture, YZY being "a for purpose (non profit) arm (branch) of Apple," and making the planet "

level," on Twitter (a terrifying thought.)

He's promising a 100 dancers (?) at TMZ tomorrow. And did I mention that he's actively calling for the abolishment of the 13th Amendment? And hoping to meet Miuccia Prada (one of his "earth moms") in the next two weeks? And jesus fucking christ this all too much can you please just drop an album and let me decide how much I'm going to hate myself for liking it on some level. Please?
