Report: There is Currently No Release Date for Kanye West's 'Jesus is King' Album

Reports say Kanye West is still putting the finishing touches on the album.

After conflicting reports throughout the weekend, it turns out the new Kanye West album is still under construction, according to TMZ. Despite his publicist Trevian Kuti's announcement on Friday — and other reports that Sunday would be the day — the weekend came and went without a proper release. According to TMZ, Kanye is still tweaking the album.

There was speculation that the Detroit event on Friday would be a full performance of the new album, but the setlist posted by TeamKanyeDaily doesn't match the tracklist posted by Kim Kardashian-West.

On Sunday, September 29th, Kanye West previewed the album at United Palace in Manhatten. According to reports, Kanye played the entre album — which contains no curses — and previewed clips from two different upcoming films. He also sold his new merch (with sweatshirts going for $140 a pop.)
