"Hi. I'm Dave Chappelle. And I just wanted to remind the audience that the only thing more frightening than watching a black man be honest in America is being an honest black man in America. Sorry for the interruption. Please continue," Chappelle said as Lamar went through a medley of "XXX," "DNA," and Jay Rock's "King's Dead."
U2's Bono and The Edge also joined Lamar onstage with the rapper's politically-driven performance.
But, back to Lamar and Chappelle. Now we just want them to open any and all music award shows, as well as embark on a tour, because obviously it would be monumental.
