The Philadelphia rapper tweeted details about the release before it dropped late last night.

A week after Lil Uzi Vert dropped his highly anticipated album Eternal Atake, he has unveiled a deluxe edition of the project. Immediately after the rollout last week, the Philadelphia rapper teased the latest edition by sharing the tracklist.

Last week he tweeted “Bro when deluxe drop the real order of album is insane.” Upon first listen, the newer project is a bit more energetic than the original edition. Before the album officially was available on streaming platforms, Uzi confirmed that it featured 14 tracks on Twitter. The tracklist he tweeted included features by Future, 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Gunna, Young Nudy, Lil Durk and NAV.

Uzi later shared that he has additional features from Lil Baby, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Kodie Shane that will drop at some point in the future. Additionally, he mentioned the updated edition of the release was “2 albums in one.” The second half (LUV vs. The World 2) which dropped at midnight is the sequel to his 2016 mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World.

LUV vs. The World 2 is a bit more energetic than the entirety of Eternal Atake. Our favorite tracks at the moment include “Bean [Kobe]” featuring Chief Keef and “Yessirskiii” with 21 Savage. The former is equipped with a really, really great beat, while the latter “Yessirskiii” is an easy listen filled with a catchy hook that is reminiscent of “Neon Guts” with Pharrell.

We’re also really into “Wassup” featuring Future. On this track, the Atlanta rapper adds his own trap alongside Uzi’s energetic rhymes. Another standout on the album is “I Can Show You,” this song allows Uzi to once again command the beat with his vocals. “Strawberry Peels” might just be our favorite song on the release; it features both Gunna and Young Thug. This cut meshes the rapping styles of all three rappers making for a fast-paced track.
