Update: Lloyd Banks has sent out another tweet, contradicting what he tweetedearlier. In his latest tweet, Banks sent out a video of wrestlinglegend Ric Flair yelling out "I'll never retire."

Did Lloyd Banks just hang up the mic?
Although Lloyd Banks hasn't put out an album since 2010, the veteran rapper has constantly put out new music. For the last couple of weeks he's been dropping random freestyles, rapping over classic songs like Ghostface Killah's "Mighty Healthy" and AZ'"Sugar Hill."
However there's chance we might have just heard the last verses of Banks' career.

On Friday afternoon Lloyd Banks sent out a couple of tweets indicating that he was retiring. In one of the tweets he gives a thank you to the fans who have supported him over the years. Then he tweeted: "it's time to rap it up."

Now, there is nothing truly definite there. But "it's time to lay it down" seems like he's done.
