Missy Elliott is about to get us dancing again.
Earlier this month, Missy Elliott tweeted about her hesitance to release new material because of music's changing landscape. But now, she's ready.
The artist teased a snippet of her new song, “Cool Off,” online over the weekend, captioning the post, "Let me get yall asses DANCING AGAIN."

It's been over a decade since Missy released an album, her last being 2005's The Cookbook. Since then, she's released singles, performed at Super Bowl XLIX with Katy Perry, was spotted in the studio with Pharrell, and put out another record with Ciara and Fatman Scoop, remixing “Level Up.”
It's unclear when her new track will drop, or if it will be a part of a larger project. But, what's for certain is, the world is ready for some new Missy.
