Nas Announces November Release of 'King's Disease III'
Nas and producer Hit-Boy are readying King's Disease III for November. The album follows their 2021 collaborative project, Magic.
Nas and Hit-Boy are still suffering from King's Disease. On Tuesday (October 18), the Queenbridge native announced on social media that their next collaborative album, King's Disease III, will release in November. In the announcement, three gold plated bars rest against a red backdrop with "KD 3" written on each bar.
The rapper, who turned 49 last month, first teased King's Disease III on "Ugly" from his surprise project Magic last December.
“I’m on offense every day until I see the love,” he rapped on the song. “KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz.”
Like the previous two King's Disease installments, the third project will also be executive produced by Hit-Boy. In 2021, both artists won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album (King's Disease) the honor also marking Nas' first Grammy win.

In a joint interview with Nas last October, Hit-Boy spoke to Complex about hosting a storytelling Masterclass with Nas and their dynamic chemistry.
"I feel like every song we make, without even consciously doing it, we’re trying to make it better than the last. It’s just already embedded in us to do that," Hit-Boy said. "I feel like as long as we keep taking that approach, it’s going to get crazier and crazier, and that’s what happened. I keep seeing every day like, “Damn, how would y’all top KD 1 that y’all won a Grammy for? This is even better.” That’s a good feeling, and it lets me know that the chemistry is legit."
