Nas Celebrates His Long-Running Glory With "30"

One week after headlining a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden, Nas released a music video for King's Disease III single "30."

Nas takes the throne in his new music video for "30." Produced by Hit-Boy, the single comes from Nas' sixteenth studio album King's Disease III, which released last November. Last week, the Queensbridge rapper, legal name Nasir Jones, held a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden, special guests including Mary J. Blige and AZ.

While formal plans for King's Disease III follow-up King's Disease IV have not been announced, 50 Cent revealed to Billboard that he'll appear on the album. In 2021, Jones and Hit-Boy received the Best Rap Album Grammy for the inaugural King's Disease.

Beginning in May, Jones will embark on a second installment of the 'N.Y. State of Mind Tour' with Wu-Tang Clan, North America, Europe, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, where the tour kicks off on May 9. Although both headlining acts are historic in their own right, Jones recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he shared that he was no longer inspired by rappers his age.

“I’m really trying to figure out what my next move is, and I feel like a lot of hip-hop artists my age are not putting out a lot of material, so I can’t look to them as a reference,” he said. “They kind of slowed down—for whatever reasons, I understand it’s a tough thing, but I got bit by the bug, man.”
