Philly rapper and producer Matthew also drops off LOVER MAN CAN. MadeinTYO shares NEO TYO. Eric Bellinger releases his latest album 1(800) HIT-EAZY: LINE 2 featuring Blxst, Muni Long, and a few others. And newbie Neek Bucks reveals his debut album BLESSED TO THE MAX.

Mourning Due by Brooklyn-based rapper Nappy Nina is an introspective listen. Over the course of 14 tracks, she paints vivid pictures of a myriad of topics. There are hints of Nina’s spoken word background all over this project. Also, the features on this release are handpicked expertly as they flow perfectly alongside Nina.

This entire Grilchy Party project by underground rapper and producer Matthew features bits and pieces of soul music but it mainly focuses on rap. In its entirety, the release is thorough and packed with a raw sound that makes it worthy of being highlighted this week.

Eric Bellinger is a singer that often doesn’t get enough praise for how he constantly breathes life into modern R&B. His latest album produced by Hitmaka is jam-packed with a bevy of R&B sounds that are compelling and emotional.

MadeinTYO excels when he blends trap rap with alternative beats. NEO TYO has the feel of SoundCloud rap of the aughts, and it works. He slowly ethers in and out of the production that doesn’t feel overly done. “Stunt” is a fun listen.
