Nina Simone will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2018 inductees. Leading this year's class is the iconic Nina Simone. She will be joined by Bon Jovi, the Cars, the Moody Blues, and Dire Straits. All those are going in as performers.
Legendary gospel singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe, also known as the “godmother of rock and roll,” will be inducted but with the Early Influence award.

Last year, legendary acts like Tupac, Pearl Jam, and Nile Rodgers were inducted into the Hall of fame.
The induction will take place at Cleveland’s Public Hall on April 14, 2018. HBO will air the show.
