Andra Day and Lauryn Hill did a Nina Simone melody.

Day, who was backed by The Roots, started it off singing songs like "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free" and "I Put a Spell on You;" Hill then handled the second half of the performance, singing "Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair" and "Feeling Good."
