The fictional TV network is the focus of a new social media post the Little Brother member has shared.
Phonte has resurrected UBN, the fictional TV network introduced in Little Brother's second album The Minstrel Show, to tease the rap group's return.
"You are watching UBN," someone sings as the UBN logo flashes in the short clip. UBN (U Black Niggas Network) was a concept introduced in The Minstrel Show and served as a satire of stereotypical programs and advertisements for black people. The album served as the follow-up to Little Brother's debut album, The Listening.

That Phonte would reference UBN to tease Little Brother's return makes sense considering the 14-year anniversary of The Minstrel Show is coming up. It was released on September 13, 2005.
A few months ago, Phonte had revealed that the rap group was reuniting but without producer 9th Wonder.
"I'm excited to announce that my brother Big Pooh and I are back at work. New Little Brother music and a tour are coming soon," he previously said. "After conversations with 9th Wonder following our Art of Cool reunion show in Durham last year, the three of us mutually agreed it was best for LB to continue as a duo, as Pooh and I have officially been Little Brother since 2007."
Little Brother's last official album was Leftback in 2010.
