Quavo last spoke on Takeoff's death during the rapper's memorial at State Farm Arena in Atlanta in November, followed by an Instagram post with the full speech.
“You were always with me and we did everything together. Since we was kids, you’ve been by my side, looking up at me with them eyes," Quavo said during the event with 21,000 in attendance. “You never competed with me. We were always on the same team ’cause you hated playing against me ’cause I always played too hard or too rough.”
Takeoff was killed at Houston's 810 Billiards & Bowling. While at the downtown bowling alley, Quavo and Takeoff were at a party with approxiamtely 40 to 50 people when a dice game reportedly got heated, resulting in shots being fired. Suspect Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested in early December. Last week, a Texas judge denied Clark's petition for bond to be reduced from $1 million to $300,000.
