Watch Questlove DJ A Native Tongues Tribute Set Live on YouTube
The legendary drummer paid homage to DJ D-Nice on Thursday night.
In the midst of nationwide self-isolation, DJs have put the rap game on their backs. After DJ D-Nice's momentous Club Quarantine social distancing sessions, many have taken to Instagram and other platforms to keep the party going. On Thursday night, Questlove streamed a personal four-hour session on The Roots' official YouTube channel. Watch the full stream above.
The set included a brief homage to the Native Tongues. The NYC supergroup produced hip-hop legends like De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Monie Love, and Queen Latifah. Many members of the collective went on to join the Soulquarians, of which Questlove was a founding member.
