The 16-track release features freestyles to Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" and Roddy Rich's "The Box."

Late yesterday evening, Smino dropped a 16-track surprise project, She Already Decided

A few weeks back, the rapper teased songs off the project on his Instagram Live. The unexpected drop is sprinkled with features by T-Pain, Sevyn Streeter, JayBabyTheGreaty, Rizz Capolatti, Bari, and more.

Most recently, the St. Louis artist rolled out the single “Tempo” and a visual for his 2019 track “Reverend.” Prior to these releases, in October the collaborative song “Häagen Dazs” surfaced featuring Smino, Saba and Noname under the moniker Ghetto Sage. In case you forgot, Smino also appeared on the Deluxe Edition of Revenge of the Dreamers III by Dreamville and J. Cole

Below, we’re running through a few of our favorite tracks on She Already Decided. First up is the intro “Fronto Asley.” It’s aptly titled as the deep cut samples “For The Love Of You” by The Isley Brothers. A few weeks back during an Instagram Live listening session, he previewed this and was joined by T-Pain who shared he loved it. Up next is “Cabbage (Freestyle),” on this song, Smino takes the beat from Megan Thee Stallion’s viral hit “Savage” for a spin.

Over on “Popeyes” Smino samples “Chickenhead” by Project Pat and honestly it’s a smooth listen. We wouldn’t expect anything less from him since he has a way with words and a knack for fusing funk with his rap style. “Jamie Boxx (Freestyle)” also sees Smino freestyling over another popular beat, this time it’s Roddy Rich’s “The Box.”

We’re hoping She Already Decided means Smino is currently cooking up another album. 2018’s NOIR was the last time he dropped one and the tracks have stood the test of time.
