Eminem Takes Shots at Joe Budden, Tyler, the Creator & More on Surprise New Album 'Kamikaze'
Eminem is out for blood on his new album
Eight months after releasing his eighth studio album, Revival, Eminem has returned with a surprise new album. The album is called Kamikaze and he dropped it out of nowhere on Thursday, August 31st.
Here is the tweet Em sent:
The album features 13 new tracks from the legendary rapper and appearances from Royce 5’9″, Joyner Lucas, and Jessie Reyez. What makes Kamikaze an interesting album is that it is a response to the negative reaction that his last album received. On Kamikaze, Eminem takes shots at Joe Budden, Tyler, the Creator, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Yachty, Lord Jamar, and more.
On the opening track, Em has some dismissive words for Lil Yachty:
Get this fuckin' audio out my audio, adiosI can see why people like Lil Yachty, but not me though
Not even dissin', it just ain't for me
All I am simply is just an MC
“Not Alike” features Royce da 5'9" and production from Tay Keith and Ronny J. On the song he takes shots at Machine Gun Kelly:
But next time you don't gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gunAnd I'm talking to you but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly
I don't use sublims and sure as fuck don't sneak-diss
But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie
On "Fall," Em aims at Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks, rapping:
Somebody tell Budden before I snapHe better fasten it
Or have his body bag get zipped
The closest thing he’s had to hits
Is smacking bitches
And don't make me have to give it back to Akademiks
Say this shit is trash again, I'll have you twisted like you had it
When you thought you had me slippin' at the telly
He then goes after Tyler, the Creator:
Tyler create nothing, I see why you called yourself a faggot bitchIt's not just 'cause you lack attention
It’s because you worship D12's balls, you’re sacrilegious
If you're gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better
Get Earl the Hooded Sweater, whatever his name is to help you put together
Some words, more than just two letters
And finally he has some bars for Lord Jamar, from Brand Nubian:
And far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell aloneOr I’ll show you an Elvis clone, walk up in this house you own
Thrust my pelvic bone, use your telephone, then go fetch me the remote
Put my feet up and just make myself at home
I belong here, clown, don’t tell me about the culture
I inspired the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles
The Seans, the K-Dots, the 5’9”s and oh
Brought the world 50 Cent, you did squat, piss and moan
