Announced just weeks ago with the release of four lead singles, the project pairs the legendary NYC selectors with The M19s Band for live studio recreations of cherished sample-based compositions, exploring the broad palette of influences that have fed hip-hop production throughout the decades. And, of course, its stitched together with cuts and scratches from the duo, as well as contributions from Rich Medina, Maimouna Youssef, Joe Perla, and more. No Requests also features an interactive app component that allows users to flip, edit, and remix, songs from the album to their own specifications.
