The Weeknd, Drake, Steve Lacy & More Top Spotify Wrapped 2022
Drake and The Weeknd are the most-streamed artists on Spotify, while Steve Lacy and Jack Harlow have the most-streamed songs.
The 2022 edition of Spotify Wrapped is here. The music platform has officially unveiled their streaming insights of the year, including top artists and songs played by 456 million of Spotify's listeners worldwide.
With more than 18.5 billion streams in total, Un Verano Sin Ti artist Bad Bunny is Spotify's most-streamed artist globally for the third year in a row. The Puerto Rican artist is followed by Drake at #3 and The Weeknd at #4. Drake released two albums this year, including his dance-oriented seventh album Honestly, Nevermind and 21 Savage-featured LP Her Loss, which holds the biggest hip-hop debut of 2022.
Bad Bunny, Drake and The Weeknd also appear on Spotify's U.S. Most-Streamed Artist list, with Drake placed at #1, Bad Bunny at #3, Ye at #4 and The Weeknd at #5. The Weeknd, who released his fifth album Dawn FM in January, also takes the #2 spot on the Most-Viral Artists Globally.
Although she hasn't released a new album in over a year, Doja Cat is still holding down the Most-Streamed Albums Globally list at #5 with her third studio album Planet Her. Spotify's most-streamed songs in the U.S. include Steve Lacy's viral hit "Bad Habit" and Jack Harlow's "First Class." Following the release of new Marvel Studios epic Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, global streams of the film increased by more than 4000% based on global data pulled November 4-7 compared to November 11-14.
