Thundercat Shares "Innerstellar Love" Just in Time For 'It Is What It Is" Release
The album arrives on streaming services tomorrow.
A day before the release of his new album, Thundercat has shared another track. This one, "Innerstellar Love," is the last before It Is What It Is arrives. The Grammy-winning bassist shared "Fair Chance," a tribute to Mac Miller featuring Ty Dolla $ign two weeks ago.
It Is What It Is is his first full-length release since 2017's critically-acclaimed Drunk. He recently spoke with Okayplayer about the new album.

The album's first single, "Dragonball Durag," is as silly and groovy as you'd expect. On "Innerstellar Love," Thundercat makes a love song fittingly as bleak as the times we live in. Stream the track above on YouTube.
"Nothing is yours, nothing is mine," he harmonizes, "we're all decaying over time."

It Is What It Is finally arrives on streaming services tomorrow. Additionally, vinyl copies of the album are available for purchase on Thundercat's Bandcamp profile page.
"This album is about love, loss life, and the ups and downs that come with that," he previously said in a statement. "It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but at different points in life, you come across places that you don't necessarily understand...some things just aren't meant to be understood."
