Anderson .Paak Details Work With Dr. Dre and Q-Tip in Full OTHERtone Radio Interview

This past weekend Anderson .Paak's Paak House event took place at Los Angeles' McArthur Park. In partnership with his Brandon Anderson Foundation, Paak brought together artists such as Raphael Saadiq, Talib Kweli, Thundercat, Jhene Aiko, and others for a day of music.

The highlight of the show though was arguably Paak and Saadiq performing together, which fans in attendance recorded. The two even did a freestyle rendition of Saadiq's "Ask of You," one of the artist's biggest solo hits to date.

.Paak also performed with Thundercat, where the two did a lively version of the latter's song "Them Changes."

.Paak also sat in on drums with Isaiah Rashad, performing the latter's "Free Lunch" track from his album The Sun's Tirade.

Speaking with Billboard, .Paak said that the event was inspired by simply wanting to "have a spot where kids can go and be themselves."

"Learn about music, spiritual growth, good eating habits, kind of like the boys and girls club," he said. "I wanted to do something that would kick this off so I wanted to team up with other organizations in the community and do it together for the first event with all of the awesome acts as well."

.Paak recently performed alongside Kweli and Kaytranada on Conan. The trio performed Kweli's track "Travelling Light" from his recently-released eighth studio album Radio Silence.
