Though he bears an uncanny resemblance to Eric Andre, Blarf's insanity is entirely his own.

Blarf is a recent signee of Stones Throw Records, who is absolutely not Eric Andre, despite countless attempts to link the comedian to the red-wigged and face-painted artist.

His glitched-out and batshit chaotic new album, Cease & Desist, was released for free last week by the trusted west coast indie. And now he's on the press circuit in support of the debut project. First stop, Pitchfork's Over/Underwhere no punches were pulled, as he evaluated Gene Simmons ("a fuckin' bloated son of a bitch,") The Measles ("you gotta get em,") Ted Nugent ("a scumbag piece of shit,") and Rupert Murdoch ("a total nihilist,") before challenging viewers to get through 6 minutes of his "unlistenable" album.

PLAYLIST: The Round-Up: Best Songs of The Week - ft. Raphael Saadiq, Slick Rick, DJ Spinna and More

Eric Andre (who is, again, a completely different human,) will appear in Disney's live-action update of The Lion King and will star in the upcoming prank film, Bad Trip, where he also serves as a writer. https://bit.ly/2JtTY7u
