According to a new Forbes cover story, JAY-Z is the first hip-hop artist to become a billionaire. In a detailed article, the publication breaks down how JAY's fortune and assets “conservatively totals $1 billion."
His most valuable assets is his holding in Armand de Brignac champagne, which is worth about $310 million.

Next is his stakes in Tidal and D’Ussé, which are both worth about $100 million. His stakes in Roc Nation and his music catalog are both worth about $75 million. He has about $200 million in investments. He also has a considerable amount of real estate and art.
