So...is Kanye West's 'Jesus Is King' Album Dropping This Week?

It seems unlikely that Kanye West will release Jesus is King this Friday, as originally scheduled.

According to Variety, a source close to Kanye West says his new album Jesus is King will not come out on Friday, while Hits Daily Double reports that Def Jam executives recently visited West at his home in Wyoming, to either postpone the release or proceed as planned.

This morning, New York Times pop music reporter Joe Coscarelli tweeted that industry sources agreed the album would not be released on Friday. He did, however, add that this was despite "people on the ground in Wyoming trying to make it happen."

This morning, Kim Kardashian-West retweeted a tweet that claims the album release will happen as scheduled.
