Lupe Fiasco Says He's on Pace to Become the "G.O.A.T. Lyricist"

Lupe Fiascohas been one of the best lyricists in hip-hop since he hit the scene, back in the mid-2000s.
So after a career that's spanned more than a decade, the question deserves to be asked: where does Lupe rank amongst the greatest rappers in hip-hop history?

It's a topic that the rapper brought up on Friday afternoon. In a string of tweets, Lupe talked about the past, tweeting about the making of "Dumb it Down" and what it was like to be praised by Jay-Z early on in his career.

And then here's the kicker: Lupe tweeted that he's on pace to be the "GOAT lyricist." Here are the tweets:
