Already on the road (and your preferred streaming platform) in support of the 25th-anniversary of 36 Chambers, The Wu-Tang Clan will lead an iconic line-up for Loud Records' own anniversary show.
On October 11th, they'll join Pete Rock, Three 6 Mafia, Havoc (performing a Mobb Deep tribute set) M.O.P., The Alkaholiks, Dead Prez, Remy Ma and Fat Joe (performing a Big Pun tribute,) along with a grip of still announced special guests, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
The appearance will add to a virtually ubiquitous year for the legendary rap crew. At the top of 2019, they launched a worldwide reunion tour. A comprehensive four-part Showtime documentary debuted in summer. And still to come -- the dramatized origins series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, for Hulu. Oh, and they're back in the Wallabees racket, recently releasing a marbled blue/cream colorway of their iconic Clarks boot collab.
So yeah, doesn't appear they'll be missing out on a single loose licensing/merchandising/visibility op any time soon.
Wu-Tang waffle maker, anyone?
