SZA'S SOS DELUXE ALBUM COVER
Boldy James in particular is having quite a busy release week.
The year is almost up — but that doesn’t mean that new music releases are stopping.
This week, we've got SZA who, ahem, after some delays, unloaded the deluxe edition of her SOS album. Titled, SOS Deluxe: LANA, it's gone brand new tracks for fans to turn into IG captions for the rest of 2024 and, probably, forever. This week is also quite a notable one for Boldy James, who released not just a new single from a forthcoming collaborative album that’s dropping next month, but also released a new project (that is also a collaboration).
There’s also Peysoh, who has followed up his notable appearance on the title track for Kendrick Lamar’s GNX with his own EP release. There’s also a new single from Gunna, as well as a new EP from Tink.
Each week, Okayplayer will deliver a roundup of all the latest new heat from some of our favorite artists. Check out the latest offerings below.
Over a synth-driven beat, Gunna caps off his year with a boastful track about jet excursions and more.
The duo releases the first track from their upcoming second collaborative album together, Murder During Drug Traffic.
The New Orleans rapper links up with Sexyy Red and King Von producer Mac Fly for this high-energy track.
L.A.-based crooner Brandy Haze makes effortless, emotionally transparent bops look simple, but it's not. Check out "Simple" today.

The Ohio artist releases the video to “Trick Different,” a standout from his recently released album, I Just Woke Up Vol. 2.
MOZZY & KALAN.FRFR, ‘Lucky Her’
The pair have finally released their first collaborative album together, with the 10-song project also featuring Rob49, Shordie Shordie and Skilla Baby.
After appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s surprise GNX album, Peysoh continues building up momentum for himself with a short and sweet five-track EP.
The surprise EP includes guest appearances from Jeremih and G Herbo.
Along with releasing a new track, Boldy James has also released a new project with whothehelliscarlo, with the seven-track album featuring Zelooperz, Conway the Machine and more.
After a minor delay, the deluxe edition of SZA's acclaimed SOS album is here, and it's got features from Kendrick Lamar and more.
