On Monday morning (November 26th)controversialBrooklyn rapper 6ix9ine appeared in court. There hepleaded not guilty to federalracketeering and firearm charges.Two of those charges come with a life sentence.

6ix9ine's trial is now set for September 4, 2019. Bail was not addressed during the hearing.Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine's lawyer, told Billboard,via email, that they are "waiting on the transcript from the court appearance on November 19 before Magistrate Pittman, and then [we] will schedule a bail hearing."

6ix9ine's threeco-defendants also handed in not guilty pleas. One of the 6ix9ine'sco-defendants is Shotti, who was 6ix9ine's ex-managerand an alleged memberof theNine Trey Bloods. At one point in the hearing he said:
We don't fold, we don't bend, we don't break.It's Tr3yway.
6ix9ine's hearing came days after news came out that the rapper was moved to a new detention center. There have been allegationsthat 6ix9ine is looking to testify, somethingLazzaro denies.Lazzaro says he was moved there "due to threats."
