Action Bronson Debuts 2 New Tracks From 'Blue Chips 2' Mixtape In Toronto [Video]
Action Bronson 2 New Tracks Toronto
Portly MC and dietary maestro Action Bronson stopped through Toronto the other day to deliver a performance that included a peak at two new tracks from the MC's upcoming Blue Chips 2 mixtape. The Queens native has had quite a year with the release of his greatly anticipated debut EP S.A.A.A.B Stories, which was produced entirely by the sample heavy Harry Fraud. Now with a follow-up effort cooking in the pot, Queens' native pusher is getting ready for a heavy-hitting Fall. On stage in Toronto, Bronson gave the audience a patented heavy set, delivering a taste of what fans can expect from the new release.
The first track features a sample of Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason To Be Here", and boasts some of Bronson's hallmark east coast patois and rhyme schematics (a true New York MC.) Played to the familiar sample of "Tequila" by TheChamps, the second track has the makings of a bonafide party anthem with its clap happy bounce and Bronson's playful lyricism. While the mixtape's release date and track names are uncertain, his first full length studio album on a major label is slated for a 2014 release. Rumor also has it that Bronson will be collaborating yet again with producer-buddy Alchemist on an impending release. Queens' favorite rappin'-ass, weed-puffin' chef has got a full plate, but you can be sure that he'll be licking it clean. Peep the new tracks and Action's outstanding rendition of the "Pee-Wee shuffle" below.
