Alec Baldwin is Writing a Satirical Trump Memoir
It's no secret now that Alec Baldwin stands in direct opposition to president-not-elect. He's the go-to for all-things-Trump on Saturday Night Live, even hosting the counter-gathering Peace Ball ahead of the inauguration. Now it appears he's ramping up the offensive with plans to publish a satirical memoir detailing Trump's first year in office. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the book will be titled, You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story Of My Fantastic First Year As President Donald J. Trump, and do precisely as its name suggests.
The memoir is being written with Kurt Andersen is scheduled for release on November 7th via Penguin Press, the day before the actual one-year mark of the most deafening disappointment in recent memory. Baldwin is also readying the release of his own non-satirical memoir, Nevertheless, on April 4th. You can pre-order your copy on Amazon today. It's entirely likely that he'll continue his streak on SNL for about as long as we can bear to see it, which means he probably won't be going any where too soon.
