Alicia Keys preps fans for her first film score with "Better You, Better Me" - the lead single from the soundtrack to The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete, directed by George Tillman, Jr. The film about two latch-key kids living on their own in New York City features an original score from Keys and Mark Isham. While Keys has appeared onscreen in Smokin' Aces and The Secret Life Of Bees, this release marks her first time at the helm as executive producer and composer. Keys' return on the triumphant track follows a string of steaming singles from the Girl On Fire LP, including "Fire We Make." The film starring Skylan Brooks, Ethan Dizon, Jennifer Hudson and Anthony Mackie debuts today. Listen to the track below to check out "Better You, Better Me" from The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete. Scroll down to watch the trailer for the film.
