Kaytranada & Alicia Keys' "Sweet F-ing Love" Is Pure F-ing Magic
Slowly but surely, Kaytranada is knocking out his bucket list collaborations. He's laid hands on Rihanna's "Kiss It Better," flipped a Bambaataa classic for 808: The Movie and might even have a track or two on the way with Snoop Dogg manning the mic. Late last night, another cosmic connection was forged with the release of Alicia Keys' honied and bubbly loosie, "Sweet F'in Love."
The track repurposes an old Kaytranada instrumental ("Hot Jazzybelle,") that's become a staple in the Montreal-based producer's DJ sets in the years since its 2013 release via Jakarta Records. Keys lilts playfully as the track jumps between slow and sizzling burn. Basically pure fucking magic. It arrives just days after the release of two new remixes from Kay; one for TLC's "Diggin' On You," the other for Latrelle's "House Party." Both are more than deserving of a refresher if they happen to slip by. But this morning, for this particular commute, there's no more expedient path to the good foot than stepping to this new Kaytranada and Alicia Keys collabo fresh out the gate.
Hear it down below and brace yourself for the next heater.
