A$AP Rocky is set to make his big screen debut in the forthcoming Diddy and Pharrell produced film Dope directed by Rick Famuyiwa. The coming of age flick about a day gone wrong for a high school geek in Inglewood stars Shameik Moore as the protagonist Malcolm. Moore appears alongside a star-studded cast including Rocky, Zoë Kravitz, Casey Veggies, Chanel Iman, Keith Stanfield, Vince Staples, Rick Fox and Forest Whitaker. Whitaker produced the comedic drama alongside Diddy and Pharrell, who contributed four original songs to the score for the fictional garage band created by Malcolm and his friends. Dope is set to play the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, which kicks off tomorrow and runs through February 1st. Check the footage below to watch the trailer for Dope. Stay tuned for more.
